Shaunna created her business from a passion for truly sustainable and unique home decor. It was important for her to develop a business that reflects her personal values and as such, Burnt Willows is entirely vegan, sourcing only the highest grade, sustainable wood that is registered with the National Forestry Initiative. It is her goal to provide decor for your personal space that you can love for years to come while also knowing your item is made with love and without harm to our beautiful planet or any of its lovely inhabitants we share it with.

This beautiful handmade laser engraved birch Dark Tarot box is made exclusively for Feehan & Co.  The metallic gold detailing highlights the intricate design of the Goddess and is perfect to hold your Light and Shadow tarot deck, store your favorite treasures, or simply hide your keys neatly out of the way.  The inside is delicately engraved with Christine Feehan's signature and is lined with sustainable fabric made from 100% post-consumer plastic bottles.

Why Birch? Birch is believed to bring an abundance of powerful, positive energy and is thought to have strong protective qualities.  Birch, also known as "White Lady of the Woods" is a Goddess tree which has many symbolic interpretations and meanings:  femininity, happiness and blessings, guidance and protection, new beginnings, good luck, regeneration and adaptability.

Product Details

Sourcing and sustainability matter. All of the wood products used to make the Dark Tarot Light and Shadow boxes are sourced solely from those who are fully certified with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.

The semi-transparent black colorant finish allows the beautiful wood grain to shine through.  Each box is sealed with a UV protecting topcoat to protect against sun damage, humidity damage and any warping that can occur as a result of the environment.
